What else can possible catch attention these days, than the fact that Aurora have given birth to a new child. “What Happened To The Heart"?” deserves all the attention we can muster, and I hope you find time to really listen to it.
I am not turning this into a Song Story yet. The child is too young, and I need some more articles, interviews and TV-shows where Aurora can talk about the different aspects of the album. Also - I will not repeat what you have read about her and her album so far. It’s all over the many social medias, so let’s save the stories for later - when our memory begins to play tricks on us 😋.
What I have for you today, is the page I have linked below. Aurora have made some great live perfomances of many of her songs already, and I have tried to find the ones with best audio recording - where I also like the version she have turned the song into. I really recomend her stunning acoustic live performance of “Starvation”.
Not every song is done live yet, so I will need to update the page in the coming weeks and months. Take a look:
One more treat
On “The God We Can Touch”-album, there is especially one song she usually don’t play live. When I was digging through YouTube to find recordings for this letter to you, I came across “This Must Be A Dream”. I think this is so lovely, and I thought to myself that I had to share this with you somehow. Here it is:
Final words
Ok - That’s it for now. Summer is getting closer, and I think to take some time off writing during the holiday. The next letter will be sent to you in 10 days (the 20th of June"), and then I will take a vacation - probably until the 20th of August. If I come across something particullary interesting during the summer, I will find time to send it on the closest corresponding date (10th, 20th og or 30th) - Else, know that I am doing fine and enjoy my time off.
See you in 10 days.
Have a day

I haven't determined yet what is my favourite song. The last one, Invisible Wounds, hits really hard, this is a personal song for Aurora (as you can hear her breaking up).
I was so fortunate to be in Oslo at the BigDipper for her concert & signing! I thanked her in person for her music, very emotional, never thought this moment would be given to me... but it was...
I've listened to the new album twice so far. Overall, I'm loving it. Still need more time to determine where it ranks amongst the other albums Aurora has put out...
...one thing is for sure, "My Name" is an absolute jam and is my present favorite song of hers (even beating "The Seed"!)
